I just double-checked the Gists and I don’t seem to get this error, I imagine we may be running different versions of numpy/matplotlib (I’m using matplotlib 3.1.1 and numpy 1.16.5). Could you maybe paste the full error you are getting in response to the gists so I can take another look?
